Handmade fabric, woven by weavers of the Ebira people of Kogi state In the middle belt (North Central) of Nigeria, West Africa is called Ita-Inochi. Woven, essentially, on the broad loom and complex in design and pattern. This craft of weaving is passed down from generations and serves as a major source of livelihood for the women of this community and their families. Natural fibres such as cotton and bast are used to weave the cloth.
Differences occur due to nature of this handmade fabric.
